Associate Professor of Clinical - Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery
The University of Miami Health System is seeking an Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology to join their respected Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. The role involves clinical responsibilities, patient care in general dermatology, and participation in teaching and research activities.

Responsibilities
Treatment and prevention of general dermatology, specializing in the treatment and care for patients of general dermatology disorders in the outpatient settings throughout UHealth
Provide high quality medical care to patients with general dermatology conditions
Conducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or services
Train/mentor residents and fellows to increase their clinical fund of knowledge and interest/success with academic research
Preparation and presentation at teaching conferences
Obtain data and results that can be used to submit an application for future clinical research awards
Provide coverage on inpatient service/telehealth service for the cruise lines as needed
Oversees mid-level medical staff as assigned
Qualification
Required
MD Degree
Fully trained in Dermatology-board-certified or board-eligible
Valid Florida medical license
Valid DEA license
BLS/ACLS certified
Experience working with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams
Experience in teaching
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and independently as part of a collaborative group
