SOE Finance Manager (Elections)
Miami-Dade County is responsible for conducting accurate and accessible elections for eligible voters. The SOE Finance Manager will oversee community outreach programs, voter education, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective election processes.

Responsibilities
Conduct community voter registration events and prepare and/or edit correspondence for citizens and provide updates on elections activities and events. Serves as a resource for all citizens, providing advisory services, education on election laws, policies, and procedures
Conduct college voter registration/education programs on college campuses in the County
Conduct promotional activities designed to increase positive exposure of the SOE office’s services, programs, and projects. Coordinates and delivers marketing and promotional services with partners, local businesses, educational institutions, and County agencies
Assembles multi-media products, such as internal/external newsletters, procedures manuals, bulletins, and brochures for distribution to internal and external clientele. Serves as SOE Office representative during outreach and community events
Conducts training programs for the Activity Directors and their staff at the Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) and Nursing Homes (NH). Performs supervised voting, registers residents to vote, ensures that signature updates are received, and that vote-by-mail ballot requests are being obtained. Prepares sealed boxes for ALF and NH, which contain vote-by-mail ballot logs, unused replacement ballots, completed declaration forms to aid, and completed declaration forms to secure assistance that will be forwarded to the Voter Services Division
In accordance with Florida Statute 98.255 and Florida Administrative Code and Florida Administrative Register 1S-2.033, assists with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and their Board to register students and conduct voting education programs in each public high school in the County

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Three years of professional accounting, financial reporting or auditing experience is required
State of Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License is required
