Responsibilities

Provide direct support and advocacy for individuals experiencing homelessness who are committed to living in recovery from drugs and alcohol
Integrate housing-focused case management with recovery support and mental health resources in a trauma-informed, client-centered environment
Work directly with shelter guests to secure safe, stable, and supportive housing while coordinating with internal staff and community partners to address barriers to recovery, employment, and wellness
Ensure guests’ successful transition from shelter to permanent housing and sustained recovery

Required

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in housing advocacy, homelessness services, recovery housing, and behavioral health
Strong knowledge of housing resources, homelessness prevention, and recovery support services
Experience with trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented approaches, and harm reduction principles
Excellent interpersonal, advocacy, and conflict resolution skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals in recovery
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data management systems (e.g., HMIS) preferred
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required

Preferred

Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Public Administration, or related field
Experience with data management systems (e.g., HMIS) preferred
