Lead Network Engineer

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise network solutions, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-based architectures
Deploy and manage Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, and Meraki technologies for secure and cloud-managed networking
Oversee multiple network initiatives as a project manager, coordinating teams and ensuring effective delivery throughout all project phases
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and security across global environments
Mentor junior engineers and maintain documentation of network architecture and procedures
Follow ITIL and ITSM best practices for service delivery, incident management, and change control
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering, including architecture, design, and operations
Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or similar) and hybrid environments
Experience collaborating with IT Security teams and implementing compliance-driven designs
Deep expertise in Cisco networking (routers, switches, firewalls), including Cisco ISE, Cisco Umbrella, Meraki, and SD-WAN
Proven experience with unified communications platforms (CUCM, VoIP, SIP)
Strong understanding of network security principles, secure architecture, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and zero-trust frameworks
Proficient in ITIL and ITSM frameworks for operational excellence
Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
Knowledge of cloud security and integration with SaaS platforms
Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred
Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications highly preferred
Familiarity with Windows and Linux server administration, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise management systems (ERP/SAP preferred)
