Engineering Team Manager

SAIC is seeking an Engineer Team Manager to support multiple projects within the Undersea Warfare and Support team in Middletown, RI. The Electrical Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing overall technical support and ensuring that the engineering team meets the needs of the programs and projects they support.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering management expertise to the program
Manage and allocate the EE workforce in support of the program's goals and objectives
Implement consistent and industry standard practices the different programs
Manage direct reports within the electrical engineering team comprising of different levels of skillsets in different areas with electrical and electronics engineering
Report to the Chief Engineer

Qualification

Electrical EngineeringLeadershipSoftware Systems DevelopmentProgram ManagementMentoring

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and nine (9) years of experience; Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and seven (7) years of experience
Minimum of five (5) years experience developing electrical, electronic, or software systems
Leadership experience
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Must be willing/able to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred

Active Secret clearance preferred
