Responsibilities

Works collaboratively with the UX, creative, and backend developers to ensure the design respects responsive best practices and can be skinned across all brands’ websites

Develops and delivers flexible HTML to our backend team that will use to create reusable components across all our brand’s websites

Leads and mentors developers by ensuring code standards are followed, conducting code review and coaching

Owns the initial load time of every page on each brand site

Ensures development best practices are communicated and employed

Provides recommendations to optimize and improve performance

Communicates, raises any challenges, and provides solutions to project management that could affect the project deliverable

Qualification

Required

5 or more years of industry experience developing responsive reusable HTML for a CMS

Experience working in a development team environment with source-code management tools (e.g, TFS, Git, SVN)

Experience with front-end build systems (e.g, Gulp, Grunt, Webpack) and unit testing

Expert understanding of responsive web design, fluid layouts and positioning

Experience working with Adobe Photoshop

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or related field

Experience working in Agile/Scrum Software Development environment
