Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician

Responsibilities
Participate in both independent and multi-disciplinary evaluations to formulate diagnostic impressions and provide comprehensive treatment plans
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with complex developmental and behavioral disorders
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assure quality and patient-centered care for children and their families
Provide teaching opportunities with General Pediatrics residents, fellows in Child Psychiatry, and Mayo Clinic medical students
Engage in clinical, epidemiological, and laboratory-based research
Qualification
Required
Candidates for this position must be board-certified/board-eligible Developmental Behavioral Pediatricians with fellowship training in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics
Candidates must possess a Minnesota license (or be able to obtain prior to start)
Academic rank at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine will be granted commensurate with experience
Candidates should also have a strong interest in joining an academic practice
Preferred
Candidates with strong interest and experience in working with children with autism and associated neurodevelopmental delays are preferred
