Responsibilities
Perform topography, construction stakeout, as built, and control surveys using conventional and GPS survey methods
Proficient with Carlson and Trimble GPS systems
Strong technical skills and knowledge of construction drawings
Have a solid understanding of CAD/Carlson software
Document field observations and prepare daily field reports
Perform office computations for stakeout
Observe safe work practices
Qualification
Required
GED or High School Diploma
3-5 years of survey experience as a construction layout surveyor required
Ability to work with design engineers, clients, contractors, and the general public
Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience with different surveys and survey equipment
Able to perform manual labor, able to carry 50+ pounds of equipment, walk across varying terrain, etc
Good driving record
Thorough understanding of safe work practices in accordance with OSHA regulations
Proficient with Carlson and Trimble GPS systems
Strong technical skills and knowledge of construction drawings
Have a solid understanding of CAD/Carlson software
Document field observations and prepare daily field reports
Perform office computations for stakeout
