Responsibilities
The Core Faculty will be responsible for day-to-day involvement in the education of the residents and/or fellows, as well as the education of medical students, and devote a significant portion of their overall effort to the education of residents and fellows
As assigned by the Program Director, the Core faculty may be asked to take on the administration or implementation of key components of the program and will support program leadership in the development, implementation, assessment and improvement of parts of the curriculum, resident assessment and mentorship, resident engagement in scholarship and other important tasks
Qualification
Required
Certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in his/her specialty
Obtain a License to practice medicine in Florida
Credentialed at the facilities of his/her clinical engagement
Some clinical experience in an academic/teaching environment
Demonstrated involvement and/or a strong interest in medical education
Some involvement in research and scholarship over the past couple of years
Preferred
Candidates that have recently graduated will be considered
