Community Health Educator I - Division on Addiction Research

Responsibilities
Be a thought partner for and key contributor to professional and community-based capacity building and public health initiatives
Work with an interdisciplinary team of Harvard Medical School faculty and research associates to help build a culture of commitment to health and health equity in the region, with a focus on alleviating harm caused by addiction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of related experience requested
Demonstrated ability to work with people of different races, ethnicities, ages, and abilities
Excellent written and oral communication, including experience developing visually appealing materials and presentations
Understanding of health equity concepts, including racial and social justice
Must be punctual, organized, and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Reliable transportation required
Excellent internet research skills, a must
Preferred
Knowledge of a second language (e.g., Spanish, Haitian Creole, Brazilian Portuguese)
Basic understanding of research methods and statistical analysis strongly preferred
Knowledge of Google Suite and its applications, preferred
Experience with minor website edits (no coding), a plus
Experience With Desktop Publishing (e.g., Adobe InDesign), Preferred
