Responsibilities
Drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
Conducting and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Managing discovery and developing case strategy
Attending court conferences, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Communicating directly with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
Assisting with trial preparation and participating in trial as needed
Qualification
Required
Licensed to practice law in New York (required)
2+ years of experience in asbestos defense, toxic tort, or related litigation
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Proven ability to handle motion practice, depositions, and client communications independently
Strong organizational and time management skills
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, client-focused approach
Preferred
Licenses in Connecticut, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania are highly desirable
