Registration Clerk -- RHC Primary Care
Community Hospital Corporation is looking for a Registration Clerk to manage the admission process for clinic patients. The role involves scheduling patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Responsible for scheduling patients, setting up patient files, registering patients, entering charges for clinic services
Responsible for verifying payment (insurance, workers comp, indigent etc.) eligibility
Responsible for obtaining all needed patient signatures and collecting payment on outgoing patients. Record payments and forward to NTMC Business office per clinic policy
Provides information to the patient/patient representative about billing, complaint process, patient rights, and HIPAA. Distributes Clinic specific literature
Communicates appropriately and clearly to supervisor, physicians, and coworkers
Interacts professionally and compassionately with patients/their families and provides explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary
Ensures that documentation meets current standards and clinic/hospital policies
Maintain accurate patient medical records. File new patient documents, physician notes, and reports according to clinic policy
Qualification
Required
