Responsibilities
Contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects
Assist underwriters in servicing and operational management of accounts
Underwrites individual insurance applications to cover property and casualty with guidelines set for the issuance of policies on a standard or substandard basis
Successfully and profitably manages an assigned group of accounts. Builds and solidifies relationships with existing clients by providing outstanding ongoing care
In partnership with the Production team, takes a leadership role in the renewal process, ensuring that the best possible solution is delivered to the client in a high-quality & timely manner
Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and lines of coverage
Nurtures relationships with the buyer in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives and buyers
Provide support in servicing and management of accounts
Direct team in problem solving, issues resolution, and handles escalations directly when needed
Work in collaboration with Team Leaders and staff to ensure we are operating within company policies & procedures and any external regulation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 8+ years client service and/or claims management experience
Producer's License (P&C)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Previous insurance knowledge and experience reading and understanding policy language
Detail oriented, strong analytical skills
Proficient in using technology such as Applied Epic as a tool to improve efficiency and quality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion
Effectively manages/balances multiple and sometimes competing priorities
Works in a self-directed manner
