Inside Sales Consultant
CGI is a leading IT and business consulting services firm that empowers clients to maximize their technology investments through innovative solutions. They are seeking an ERP Inside Sales Consultant to nurture client relationships and generate new business opportunities for their ERP offerings, focusing on lead qualification and consultative selling.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage strong client relationships, collaborating closely with capture management teams
Provide technical expertise to support the sales team
Help customers understand how products or solutions meet their needs
Prepare detailed quotes, proposals, and product configurations. Ensure accuracy in pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines
Work cross-functionally with CGI teams to grow executive-level client engagement and account development
Partner with IP and solutions teams to translate client needs into actionable, deliverable solutions
Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and recognition across teams to drive business success
Engage with CGI regional teams to build communities and drive joint business growth
Stay informed on industry trends and maintain competitive intelligence
Establish trusted, peer-level relationships with clients to proactively present innovative solutions
Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline data using CRM tools
Travel up to 25% within the assigned geographic region
Qualification
Required
5 + years of proven experience in inside sales or similar role, ERP solution sales, preferably in commercial or public sector environments
Demonstrated success in building and managing client relationships that lead to significant bookings
Understanding of systems integration, managed services, and IT consulting
Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills across all organizational levels
Ability to confidently engage with senior-level stakeholders and drive strategic conversations
Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
Willingness to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through closing and post-sale engagement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
