Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive pipeline for battery temperature state estimation accuracy analysis, including:
Collaborate with test engineers to develop and execute tests to evaluate battery thermal performance and collect data for validation
Quantify discrepancies between online BMS estimations, high-fidelity thermal models, and experimental data
Identify and analyze error sources that may contribute to estimation inaccuracy
[Stretch goal] Architect and implement an automated simulation framework capable of handling large-scale testing and simulation needs
Qualification
Required
Going into the 2nd or 3rd year in college career
Understanding in Li-ion battery cell behavior and battery management system architectures
Experience with simulation and programming tools such as Simulink and Python
