Responsibilities

Provide essential clerical and administrative support within inpatient and outpatient centers
Assist with answering routine inquiries, screening calls, welcoming and supporting patients and visitors, and accurately recording and transcribing physician orders
Help maintain clinic schedules, support co-pay collection processes, and participate in team-based activities across the center

Qualification

Medical Office AssistantMedical terminologyCustomer serviceClerical supportAdministrative support

Required

High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service
Medical Office Assistant Associate's degree; or
Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park)
