Responsibilities
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for technology supporting LPL’s direct Mutual Fund, Annuity, and Insurance business
Lead and mentor engineering teams responsible for building and supporting direct business platforms
Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define platform architecture and modernization strategies
Oversee delivery of complex technology initiatives ensuring compliance, scalability, and high-quality outcomes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless integration and regulatory alignment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including 10+ years managing engineering teams
5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent, designing technical platforms from the ground up
Expertise in full-stack development, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
Experience supporting financial services products (Mutual Funds, Annuities, Insurance)
Preferred
AWS/Azure Cloud certifications
Experience in broker-dealer or wealth management technology environments
Familiarity with annuity order entry systems and carrier integration platforms
