Responsibilities

Engage in ongoing NASA research projects at a NASA Center, NASA Headquarters, or at a NASA-affiliated research institute
Assess current vulnerabilities to extreme weather events and emerging challenges from climate change
Apply Earth information to enhance decision support across a range of impact sectors and applications
Generate useful information for decision-makers and impact sector models
Integrate remotely-sensed information for the monitoring and forecast of extreme event impacts
Utilize high-performance computational resources, machine learning and statistical methods to elevate impacts research
