Responsibilities

Daily clinical supervision of residents and fellows
Lecturing to medical students, radiology residents, fellows, and trainees from other departments
Teaching during readouts and conferences
Participate in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties
Prepare learning materials, lectures, teaching posters, and presentations for national and international conferences
Clinical coverage in the areas of pediatric radiography, Ultrasound (US), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Coverage of teleradiology services including at the Specialty Centers when necessary
Assigned to in-house coverage on evenings, nights and weekends
Research in the area of Fetal Imaging including Ultrasound
Providing mentorship to aspiring junior faculty seeking to develop a research career in the field of fetal imaging
Oversee fetal MRI and US imaging
Build strong working relationships within the Divisions of Body Imaging and Neuroradiology
Manage full-time, and per-diem members of the Divisions of Fetal Imaging
Responsible for the recruitment, development, mentorship, and retention of a diverse group of faculty
Leadership within the Department of Radiology

Required

Expertise in diagnostic pediatric imaging with significant experience in fetal MRI and US
Subspecialty clinical expertise in fetal imaging including both US and MRI
M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified or equivalent with a CAQ or equivalent in Pediatric Radiology
Fellowship training in pediatric radiology or demonstration of equivalent experience
National reputation for clinical excellence
Established reputation as an expert in the field of fetal imaging
Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed scholarship and collaboration
Ability to prepare learning materials, lectures, teaching posters, and presentations for national and international conferences
Clinical coverage in pediatric radiography, Ultrasound (US), Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Assigned to in-house coverage on evenings, nights and weekends
Ability to oversee fetal MRI and US imaging
