Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Communications and Engagement Manager for the Computer Science Department at Boston University. This role is responsible for leading departmental communications, marketing, and engagement efforts to strengthen the department's brand and community, while overseeing various initiatives and supporting faculty actions.

Responsibilities

Manage the CS website and oversee all departmental communications, marketing, and branding
Coordinate faculty actions, appointments, and faculty searches, including search logistics and documentation
Plan and support faculty-driven events, seminars, lectures, and departmental programs
Lead alumni, industry, and career engagement initiatives, including events, communications, and employer partnerships
Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts and respond to related student concerns
Supervise staff and/or student employees

Required

B.A./B.S
3+ years of related experience
Strong sense of organization
