Architectural Historian

Demonstrate an understanding of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
Identify multiple common architectural styles
Apply the National Register of Historic Places criteria for evaluation
Determine an Area of Potential Effects for projects
Determine the effects a project could have on identified resources
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in architectural History or closely related field
Supervisory field experience
Midwestern historic architectural surveys experience
Demonstrated ability to carry research to completion
Understanding of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
Ability to identify multiple common architectural styles
Knowledge of how to apply the National Register of Historic Places criteria for evaluation
Ability to determine an Area of Potential Effects for projects
Ability to determine the effects a project could have on identified resources
