They are seeking a motivated Stormwater Technician to join their team in Alabaster, Alabama, responsible for performing construction stormwater inspections and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Must be able to perform construction stormwater inspections in the North and Central Alabama regional areas

Must have a clean driving record

Experience in stormwater inspection services, erosion control installation and maintenance, construction or environmental science is preferred

Self-directed and able to identify properly installed BMPs and communicate verbally and in written form areas where BMP maintenance and/or modification is needed

Ability to demonstrate strong technical understanding of general site development and construction methodologies coupled with the desire and ability to work outside

Detail oriented with inspections noting site conditions/issues

Use of proper PPE and safety equipment

Capable of completing inspection within permit and/or client directed time constraints

Ability to input inspections from a phone or tablet while on site
