Legal Intern - Student Hourly

Center for Public Partnerships & Research is seeking a Legal Intern to provide legal assistance and education to the KU community. The intern will work under the supervision of LSS attorneys, assisting students and engaging in educational functions while conducting legal research and preparing correspondence.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Provides legal assistance, consults with and advises current KU students under attorney supervision
Assists with the educational functions of the office, such as preparing social media post, conducting workshops, tabling, and outreach
Conducts legal research, negotiation, and prepares correspondence
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification

Legal researchProficient computer skillsBusiness law interestCollege studentsLaw office experience

Required

Be a second- or third-year law student
Have proficient computer skills

Preferred

Experience working with college students
Interest in business law
Law office experience
