This leadership role is vital in ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for guests and staff, while managing engineering operations and team performance.

Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel
Ensure the proper functioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and guest requests, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
Supervise and train engineering staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Monitor and manage departmental budgets, supplies, and inventory
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Collaborate with other departments to support hotel operations and special projects
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Chief Engineer or similar role in the hospitality industry
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety protocols
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Previous management and team leadership experience is required
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred
Relevant certifications or licenses in engineering or facilities management
