Marketing Intern (Undergraduate Level), Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios
Amazon is seeking dynamic and self-motivated Marketing Interns for Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios to help shape the future of movies and television. Interns will have the opportunity to work in various specializations including Consumer Insights, Brand Social Media, and Social & Influencer Marketing, contributing to research, social media strategies, and digital marketing efforts.

Responsibilities
Support the department coordinator and interact across streaming, theatrical, and international film research
Deliver deep customer insight to creative teams to promote compelling stories, characters and worlds
Evaluate movies and marketing strategies that resonate with audiences worldwide
Conduct desk research, independent research studies, operational organization, and administrative processes
Develop and execute social media strategies that build brand awareness, drive viewer engagement, and create meaningful connections with our global audience
Manage social media for a major entertainment brand, providing valuable insights into content strategy, audience engagement, and digital marketing
Support digital marketing efforts across several major 2026 YA launches, inclusive of both films and series
Contribute to fan engagement through social content ideation, day-to-day execution, and influencer program support
Qualification
Required
Work 40 hours/week throughout the course of a 12-week summer internship
Expected graduation conferral date between December 2026 – June 2028
Currently enrolled in bachelor's (or above) degree program in: Consumer Insights – Marketing, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Film Studies, or related fields
Brand Social Media and Social & Influencer Marketing – Film & Television Production, Digital Media, Multimedia Arts, Audio Engineering, Visual Arts, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related fields
Preferred
Consumer Insights: Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies
Strong Excel skills
Experience with comparative analysis and report writing
Knowledge of entertainment industry trends
Experience with organizational and process management tools
Brand Social Media: Prior experience in scripted, unscripted or film production is preferred, such as working as a Production Assistant, participating in student film projects, or leading student productions or campus organizations
Experience or knowledge in organizational and process management tools
Social & Influencer Marketing: Previous internship or campus experience in entertainment, digital marketing, social media, or influencer programs
A passion for YA storytelling, pop culture, and the evolving creator landscape
Strong familiarity with social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Snapchat, etc
Familiarity with marketing presentation tools like PowerPoint or Canva
A collaborative, curious, proactive mindset
