Responsibilities
Leading a team of salaried bargaining and non-bargaining work teams in completing vehicle retrofits, builds, and/or part fabrication
Supporting daily production
Troubleshooting problems as they arise
Allocating resources and manpower accordingly to resolve issues without impact to shop throughput performance
Manpower Management
Leads Safety, Quality and Cost initiatives for the shop
Provide regular status to leadership
Qualification
Required
100% Onsite
Warehouse Supervision experience
Minimum 5 years of automotive experience
High School Diploma required
Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application
Ability to direct the workforce and deliver results
Experience in resolving employee conflicts with professionalism and integrity
Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
Preferred
2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused on production control
Experience Working in a Unionized Environment
