The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is seeking a Press Assistant/Executive Assistant to support their Communications team. This role involves coordinating projects, managing press lists, and assisting with the drafting of communications materials while working closely with various directors within the organization.

Responsibilities

Work in coordination with the communications team

Support the execution of projects within and across departments’

Help manage the distribution and quality of written materials every day, from drafting to delivery

Maintain the DNC’s press lists

Monitor news events throughout the day, and keep up with the news cycle

Compile and produce morning clips

Assist the entire communications team and Director of Strategic Planning with special projects and strategic planning

Manage the Communications Director and War Room Director’s calendars and support with administrative tasks

Supervise the department’s intern(s), from hiring to day-to-day supervision

Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC’s mission
