BioView is seeking a highly professional customer focused Field Service Engineer to join their Support & Training team. The successful candidate will provide training and support for BioView imaging products, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining technical expertise. Frequent travel is required for on-site support and installation of systems at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Installation of BioView systems at customers sites
Training of new users to successfully operate the BioView systems & software
Demonstrating BioView systems and applications
Provide remote and on-site support to BioView customers by installing, fine-tuning, and maintaining BioView systems and applications
The position requires diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures
You will document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction
Frequent travel required, 60-70% of the time, mostly within the US & Canada, but may be to other regions on the globe

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in life science, biomed, or a technical field
Familiarity with Microscopy, Cytogenetics, Fluorescence In-situ Hybridization (FISH), Cell Morphology, and Immunostaining analysis is an advantage
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Problem solver with good technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Computer and network knowledge is a plus
Ability to understand computer algorithms and to tune parameters
Outstanding ability to explain, demonstrate and present new biological and technical concepts to new users
Handle stress effectively
Willingness to work outside of normal working hours and in rare cases on weekends
Valid Passport
Valid driver license
