They are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Teller/Customer Service Representative, responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing various banking transactions.

Responsibilities
Accepts deposits, cashes checks, process savings withdrawals and disburses funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds to support withdrawals
Prepares cashier’s checks, processes credit card cash advances, makes change orders, processes night deposit bags
Accepts payments; loan payments, safe deposit box rental payments, etc
Enters transactions in the bank’s recordkeeping system, recording all transactions and producing a customer receipt
Balances transactions at end of day and verifies cash totals
Open and process new accounts, including DDA, savings, certificate of deposit and individual retirement accounts
Assists with safe deposit box services, check orders, debit card services
Prepares stop payments and wire transfers
Provides internet banking and mobile banking support
Answers customer inquiries and gives balances
Retrieves and handles incoming mail, outgoing mail and returned mail
Maintains a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiables and confidential records
Answers the telephone and transfers calls to the appropriate personnel
Cross-sells the Bank’s service and products
May assist Head Teller; vault maintenance, opening and closing
ATM Balancing
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees
Knowledge of Bank Products, Services and Policies
Successful completion of online training and any other compliance training deemed necessary by the Bank
Have knowledge and abide by Bank Secrecy Act Laws and regulations
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Customer Service Experience is required
Cash handling experience is required
Preferred
Knowledge of general office and branch operation activities is preferred
