Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with questions and directions related to access procedures
Carry out security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized access and protect company assets at the food and beverage location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns
Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines
Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement as needed during emergency response activities
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
