Responsibilities
Lead the full M&A lifecycle, including sourcing, valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and post-close integration
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of acquisition opportunities across target verticals such as insurance distribution, underwriting, specialty lines, and adjacent financial services
Collaborate with executive leadership and private equity sponsors to define and execute the group’s inorganic growth strategy
Develop and manage relationships with advisors, intermediaries, and potential acquisition targets
Prepare detailed financial models, business cases, and investment materials to support executive and board-level decision-making
Partner cross-functionally to ensure newly acquired businesses are seamlessly integrated and deliver targeted performance outcomes
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory, ideally with exposure to the insurance or broader financial services industry
Demonstrated success leading and executing M&A transactions end-to-end
Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis skills
Strong commercial judgment with the ability to evaluate strategic fit, synergy potential, and value creation opportunities
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with executive teams and investors
