Responsibilities

Independently performs skilled preventive maintenance work in operating, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling a variety of air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems and equipment and performs other related duties as assigned

Qualification

EPA Universal Technician certificationAir conditioning maintenanceRefrigeration equipment overhaulFour years experience

Required

Current EPA certification as a Universal Technician

Legal Authorization to Work Requirement: Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States

FOUR (4) YEARS of progressively responsible experience in the maintenance and overhaul of air conditioning and/or refrigeration equipment as a helper or apprentice under a journey level air conditioning and/or refrigeration mechanic

Certification as a Universal Technician in accordance with Section 608 of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Clean Air Act, 1990, as amended

Possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment

Ability to lift and carry items of various weights with or without reasonable accommodation
