Angove Partners is partnering with a leading boutique Insurance Broker in the United States, seeking a Business Development Vice President to assist in their ambitious growth strategy. The role involves facilitating interactions between insurance brokerage firms and private equity firms, managing relationships, and conducting strategic sales activities to promote insurance brokerage services.

Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for private equity firms, establishing and nurturing strong partnerships
Develop a deep understanding of the private equity industry, including its dynamics, trends, and challenges related to insurance and employee benefits
Collaborate with private equity firms to understand their specific needs and requirements for insurance and employee benefits due diligence during M&A activities
Conduct strategic sales activities, including presentations, negotiations, and relationship-building efforts, to promote insurance brokerage services and secure new business opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams, such as underwriters, brokers, and analysts, to ensure a seamless transition from due diligence to post-closing insurance brokerage services
Qualification
Required
3-8 years Experience in Sales Industry, with demonstrated sales success
Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing
Strong negotiation skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
