Responsibilities

Create and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs

Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality standards

Analyze market trends and forecast demand to make informed purchasing decisions

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations) to understand supply needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to prevent shortages or excess stock

Track purchasing metrics and performance to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of supply chain management

Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Negotiation skills: You will be equipped at best practice negotiation processes to effectively manage vendor relationships and contracts

Strong analytical abilities to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions

Ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a collaborative work environment

Preferred

Experience in a battery, automotive, or electronics manufacturing environment

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and just-in-time inventory

Ability to work in a bilingual environment (Korean/English)
