They are seeking a 2–8 year Insurance Coverage Associate to work exclusively on insurance coverage and insurance-related litigation, representing carriers and collaborating in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Work exclusively on insurance coverage and insurance-related litigation, primarily representing carriers

Analyze coverage under a wide range of policies (personal & commercial lines, property, liability, professional, excess, etc.)

Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights and declination letters

Handle coverage litigation and bad faith matters in state and federal courts, including motion practice and appeals

Prepare high-quality written work product for sophisticated insurer clients

Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues in a team-oriented environment

Required

2–7 years of insurance coverage experience

Strong legal writing and analysis skills – this is a writing-heavy role

Solid academic background and a track record of careful, thoughtful coverage work
