Responsibilities
Deliver mission-critical outcomes - Build and deploy solutions that directly power next-generation AI products and workflows used by top innovators and strategic government partners
Partner deeply with technical customers - Work day-to-day with engineers, researchers, and operators to understand constraints, uncover needs, and translate them into scalable product improvements
Ship full-stack, production-quality work - Design, implement, and deploy functionality across the stack - UI, APIs, backend services, data workflows, and infrastructure
Move fast with high standards - Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate - balancing speed with quality to deliver measurable impact
Shape how we build and how we grow - Influence engineering best practices, product direction, and team culture as we scale rapidly
Operate across a wide project surface area - One week you might design a system architecture for a high-throughput pipeline; the next you might build a customer-facing interface or integrate with complex enterprise environments
Accelerate into leadership - This role is designed for people who want to take ownership early, lead critical deployments, and grow into senior technical or leadership roles as the company expands
Qualification
Required
2+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred
A strong history of shipping real products not just prototypes - ideally at meaningful scale
Comfort working end-to-end: problem definition → architecture → implementation → deployment
Strong coding ability and the confidence to navigate unfamiliar systems quickly
Excellent communication skills — able to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A builder mindset: you enjoy ambiguity, you move quickly, and you take ownership
High adaptability in a fast-moving AI landscape
Interest in working hybrid from San Francisco or New York
Preferred
Experience with distributed systems, large-scale pipelines, or high-throughput infrastructure
Exposure to machine learning, applied AI, or model evaluation concepts
Prior customer-facing engineering experience (enterprise, solutions, forward deployed, etc.)
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and production operations (AWS/GCP/Azure)
