Responsibilities
Investigate and develop massive wage-and-hour class/collective actions from intake through certification against national employers
Draft class complaints, certification briefs, and opposition to arbitration motions in SDNY and NY Supreme
Take depositions of HR executives, payroll managers, and corporate designees to expose off-the-clock and misclassification schemes
Argue class certification and decertification battles, plus discovery disputes over time records and payroll data
Prepare damages models with forensic economists and co-counsel mediations or jury trials that force multimillion-dollar settlements
Qualification
Required
Experience in plaintiff employment law, specifically in wage-and-hour class actions
Ability to handle FLSA collectives and NYLL class actions
Strong litigation skills, including taking depositions and arguing certification motions
Experience drafting class complaints, certification briefs, and opposition to arbitration motions
Ability to investigate and develop massive wage-and-hour class/collective actions
Experience preparing damages models with forensic economists
Strong communication skills for mediations or jury trials
