Responsibilities
Run your own cases: Own a docket of high-quality FEHA plaintiff employment matters from filing through resolution
Manage your own portfolio of 10–20 active litigation cases as you ramp up
Take and defend depositions independently (ideally 12+ taken already – and you enjoy them)
Draft and argue motions (incl. MSJs), handle written discovery, mediations, and pre-trial work
Appear in state and federal court (e.g., Riverside, OC) as matters move toward hearings and trial
Work directly with the founding partner on case strategy while running the day-to-day litigation
Qualification
Required
California-based attorney with experience in plaintiff-side employment litigation under FEHA
Ability to manage a portfolio of 10–20 active litigation cases
Experience taking and defending depositions (ideally 12+ taken already)
Proficient in drafting and arguing motions, handling written discovery, mediations, and pre-trial work
Ability to appear in state and federal court as matters move toward hearings and trial
Experience working directly with partners on case strategy
