Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
Assist customers with product demos, explaining features and benefits clearly and confidently
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
Supervise team members during shifts, ensuring smooth store operations and excellent service delivery
Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to increase sales
Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an attractive shopping environment
Conduct stock checks, assist with inventory management, and support stocking activities to keep the store well-supplied
Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products, store hours, or services while practicing excellent phone etiquette
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably within a grocery store or similar environment
Supervising experience is highly desirable to effectively lead team members and coordinate daily tasks
Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer needs
Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with customers confidently
Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience
Preferred
Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail sales environments is a plus
