Responsibilities
Provide general technical information and vendor coordination when equipment performance concerns arise
Participate in equipment walkdowns, failure follow-ups, and troubleshooting activities under the direction of operations and maintenance supervision
Define job packages, materials, and contractor requirements for maintenance projects
Support scheduling, job readiness checks, and post-maintenance reviews to improve future execution
Maintain accurate equipment records and technical documentation
Support spare part confirmations, vendor recommendations, and material substitutions
Obtain vendor quotes, provide technical clarification, and track delivery needs for planned work
Provide engineering review and field support for small maintenance-driven capital upgrades or replacements
Assist with Management of Change documentation and installation validations when equipment or components are modified
Contribute to continuous improvement of PM task descriptions and basic compliance tracking
Document maintenance learnings and assist supervisors in capturing repeat issues requiring further technical evaluation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline
5+ years of experience in maintenance, project engineering, or manufacturing support role
Ability to organize maintenance priorities and coordinate activities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication with maintenance technicians, vendors, and operations groups
Practical mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in the field
Familiarity with CMMS software for work order execution support
Preferred
Hands-on experience in an industrial environment
