The Podcast Producer will be responsible for the strategy, editorial direction, and delivery of 1-2 leading video-first podcasts, working closely with creators and the internal team to enhance audience engagement and growth.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end delivery of 1 podcast episode
Generate strong episode ideas, hooks, and briefs
Shape episode structure, pacing, and narrative
Brief editors clearly on edits, trailers, and clips
Review edits and give decisive, high-quality feedback
Contribute titles, thumbnail direction, and packaging ideas
Track performance and suggest improvements week-on-week
Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients on your shows, communicating clearly, confidently, and proactively
Qualification
Required
Is genuinely podcast and content obsessed
Has strong editorial taste and instinct
Understands what drives performance on YouTube, Spotify and social
Is data-literate and comfortable reviewing analytics
Is highly organised and strong at prioritisation
Can manage 1–2 clients without dropping standards
Defaults to believing problems are solvable
Is proactive, resourceful, and decisive
Is a clear and confident communicator
