Payroll & Benefits Specialist
Chapa-De Indian Health is a non-profit community outpatient health center dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of American Indians and low-income individuals. They are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to calculate, process, and audit payroll and benefit transactions while providing day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs.

Responsibilities
Calculate, process and audit payroll and benefit transactions in the HRIS system including changes to salaries, benefits, direct deposits, garnishments, deferred compensation, taxes, and other deductions
Provide day-to-day administration of employee benefit programs, including enrollment, changes and termination
Present on behalf of the Payroll & Benefits team at New Employee Orientation. Prepare presentation materials, as needed
Prepare pay records for posting to the general ledger, reconcile payroll records to the general ledger and prepare payroll journal vouchers
Qualification
Required
Three years in-house payroll administrator experience
One year experience in employee benefits coordination
Experience with UKG Ready or similar HRIS
Preferred
Associate's degree in accounting or finance
CPP certification is highly desirable

Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents.
