As a part-time Senior DeFi Engineer - Infrastructure, you will design scalable DeFi backends to support liquidity aggregators and cross-chain routers, playing a critical role in enabling robust decentralized financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities
DeFi Infrastructure Architecture
Build liquidity aggregators, routers, and order books for DAG + BFT consensus
Implement bridges and relayers for 20+ chain asset transfers with sub-millisecond finality
Design oracle networks for tamper-proof feeds and MEV-resistant DeFi operations
Scalability & Optimization
Optimize backends with CQRS, PostgreSQL sharding, and Kubernetes for billions of transactions
Integrate KYC/AML-compliant fiat ramps while preserving non-custodial DeFi principles
Ensure 50B+ TPS scalability with distributed systems and consensus algorithms
Security & Monitoring
Embed post-quantum signatures for unbreakable DeFi infrastructure security
Develop anomaly detection tools and automated audits for real-time risk mitigation
Generate zk-proof trails for compliance and infrastructure governance
Interoperability
Design infra compatible with Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot, and Cosmos ecosystems
Implement high-throughput relayers for seamless cross-chain liquidity pooling
Integrate CEX APIs like Binance for hybrid custodial/decentralized execution
Developer Ecosystem
Deliver SDKs (Node.js/Go) for single-command infra deployments
Build self-service consoles for DeFi backend scaling in - Create sandbox environments for rapid infrastructure testing
Leadership & Innovation
Collaborate with DeFi primitives, data, and AI/ML teams for integration
Lead infrastructure reviews for reliability and performance
Mentor engineers and contribute to open-source DeFi infra components
Publish at Consensus/SBC on DeFi infrastructure innovations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
7+ years building DeFi infrastructure with aggregators, bridges, or oracles
Expertise in Node.js, Scala, Go, and tools like AWS, Docker, RabbitMQ
Proficiency in cross-chain mechanisms, liquidity protocols, and security audits
Preferred
Background in Polkadot/Substrate contributions or enterprise DeFi networks
Experience with open-source bridges or oracle decentralization
Contributions to Axelar/Wormhole standards or patents
