Responsibilities
Convert RTL designs into formats suitable for Veloce emulation
Analyse RTL for emulation compatibility and identify performance or capacity bottlenecks
Perform logic synthesis and partitioning optimised for Veloce architecture
Use Veloce tools and scripts to achieve optimal performance and resource utilisation
Generate and manage Veloce build artefacts, including configuration files, memory maps, and probe definitions
Debug and resolve build issues related to timing, connectivity, and resource constraints
Configure and manage the Veloce emulation environment , including hardware and software components
Develop and maintain scripts for automated build generation and regression execution
Create and maintain clear documentation for Veloce build flows, scripts, and emulation environments
Qualification
Required
8–15 years of relevant industry experience
Hands-on, proven experience with Cadence Veloce emulation
Strong RTL knowledge (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL)
Experience with large SoC emulation, synthesis, and partitioning flows
Proficiency in scripting (Tcl, Python, Shell) for automation
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred
Experience collaborating with verification teams to debug emulation-related issues
Exposure to hardware/software co-verification or software bring-up on emulation platforms
Prior interaction with Cadence Veloce support or field engineers
