Responsibilities
Provide coverage analysis and litigation strategy on complex disputed coverage issues
Draft detailed legal memoranda, policy interpretation opinions, reservation of rights letters, and dispositive motions
Represent insurer clients in coverage litigation, including federal and state court matters
Support mediation and ADR efforts to resolve coverage disputes efficiently
Consult on policy wording and program implementation questions
Work collaboratively with attorneys across reinsurance, bad faith, and defense litigation teams
Qualification
Required
4–8 years of insurance coverage litigation experience (policy interpretation, coverage disputes, bad faith/extracontractual liability)
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills tailored to insurance coverage contexts
Experience drafting coverage positions, opinions, and coverage briefs
Proven litigation experience in coverage matters (motions, discovery, hearings)
Licensed to practice law in the U.S
Preferred
