The Composite Technician will be responsible for tasks related to the production of aerospace components, ensuring high-quality composite fabrication and collaborating with engineers and team members.

Responsibilities
Prepare molds, apply and place composite materials following technical drawings and specifications
Perform secondary bonding of components with epoxies and resins
Vacuum bagging
Perform detailed trimming and cutting of composite materials using various tools to meet development and engineering specifications
Operate hand drills and other equipment to drill holes in composite parts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering drawings
Set up and use jigs, fixtures, and molds for the assembly process
Safely handle composite materials, resins, and adhesives, maintaining a clean and organized work area
Carry out inspections and tests on composite assemblies, noting any discrepancies or defects according to set procedures
Work closely with engineers, quality inspectors, and team members to improve processes and maintain high-quality output
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Understanding of composite materials, resin systems, and adhesives
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
Attention to detail
Dexterity to handle small parts and tools
Ability to work in environments that may require PPE
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, is required
Preferred
Technical or vocational training in composite technology or aerospace manufacturing
