They are seeking a Part Time Traveling Quality Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting manufactured parts, ensuring quality standards, and utilizing measurement tools while traveling as needed.

Responsibilities

Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects

Read and follow work instructions and general processes

Use measuring or testing equipment as needed

Ensure products meet quality standards

Bring parts into compliance by de-burring, de-rusting, grinding, etc

Utilize gages and other measurement tools

Display excellent customer service

Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies

Collect and record data

Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements

Any other duties as assigned

Must be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies

Must be able to read basic blueprints to determine tolerance of parts and/or sub-assemblies

Demonstrated knowledge of tools, practices, and industry quality standards

Demonstrated expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint

Understanding of database principles and knowledge of MS Access

Basic knowledge of materials and production processes

Basic knowledge of quality control methods

High School Diploma Required
