Responsibilities
Provide overall direction for full life-cycle provider relations
Shape contracting, value-based care (VBC), and network development strategies
Negotiate provider reimbursement and contract terms
Design innovative value-based arrangements
Oversee ongoing network growth and performance
Champion cost-containment initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Serve as the go-to expert on reimbursement and payment models
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field
8-10 years' experience in managed care/health care and knowledge of government programs with a specific focus on Medicaid
APR-DRG hospital reimbursement methodology and claims adjudication systems
Significant experience managing networks and provider relations for primary care and specialty practices with a focus on access to care
5-7 years' experience in supervisory capacity
Preferred
Master's degree in business or in health care administration
5-7 years' experience with state and federal programs such as Medicaid and Medicare
Experience with provider pay-for-performance programs
