Environmental Control Technician III- Shorebird Wildlife Biological Aide IV
The State of Delaware is seeking an Environmental Control Technician III for the Delaware Shorebird Project, which focuses on monitoring and protecting migrating shorebird species. The role involves recruiting and managing volunteers, participating in fieldwork, and handling data management and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities
Provides technical support in studies, surveys, inspections and research projects
Survey and monitor bird populations
Trapping and banding
Work cooperatively with other seasonals, volunteers and Division of Fish and Wildlife staff
Provides technical information and assistance to the public
Maintains accurate records and prepares reports
Assists in data entry
Maintains records and reports detailing daily activities
Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Six months experience in conducting field work to collect environmental or ecological samples and survey data
Six months experience in analyzing and evaluating data
Six months experience in math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, or decimals
Six months experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures
Six months experience in narrative report writing
Six months experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire and report on data
Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving)
