Information Technology Business System Analyst
The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is seeking an Information Technology Business System Analyst to enhance the fiscal and financial stability of the Government of the District of Columbia. The role involves overseeing the development and implementation of modernization programs, partnering with stakeholders to define business needs, and managing the translation of requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
Participating in the development and implementation of a strategic plan for OFT's technological and business modernization
Assisting in the implementation of the technology systems
Partnering with customers and other subject matter experts to elicit, analyze and define business needs, and provide recommendations
Soliciting clear requirements from business stakeholders and analyzes impacts of the requirements
Managing the translation of requirements into test conditions
Creating Requests for Proposal (RFP) for large transformational initiatives defining the integration of systems
Coordinating with the system vendor and set up training sessions for the end users on the new system functionality
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Six (6) years of progressive experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as leading and coordinating new and existing IT projects to support business operations
Assisting with financial system design and implementation
Conducting business analysis and translating business requirements into technical solutions
Providing recommendations and solutions on IT issues and vendor contracts
Preferred
PMP certification
